Parks Galore (City of Chanute)

With five parks, a lake, a pond and more, Chanute has lots to offer those who enjoy the great outdoors. In addition, there is a public golf course located near the airport.

Santa Fe Depot

One of the largest Santa Fe Depots in this area is located in Chanute. It has been renovated with private funds and now houses the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum and the Chanute Public Library.

Summit Hill Gardens

Summit Hill Gardens creates handmade soaps and lotions as well as grown heirloom plants and offers a taste of farm life.

The Nest Extended Stay Hotel (formerly the Tioga Hotel)

The Tioga Hotel was built in 1926 and was one of the first completely fire-proof structures in the state. The building is now home to The Nest Extended Stay Hotel. It is listed on the National Historic Register.
