kyneThe Lincoln County Historical Complex consists of the Kyne House Museum, complex, the Topsy School, and a Victorian home.
 
The Kyne House was built of limestone by pioneers Timothy and Bridget Kyne in 1885. Among the featured pieces are a pie safe and table that were also built by Timothy. 

The Topsy School was a one-room school house which is used by area schools on special occasions.

The historical complex features early businesses, such as a newspaper office, funeral home, general store, etc. See the desk where artist/writer F.A. Cooper wrote his books, It Happened in Kansas

The Marshall-Yohe House, built in 1885 is an excellent example of a Queen Anne Victorian home, with several pieces of Stickley furniture as well as many fine antiques and original furnishings.
 
The historical complex is open Tuesday and Thursday 1-4 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  The Marshall-Yohe House is open for tours by appointment.
