Are you seeking a getaway from the pressures of daily life? Then drive a few miles southwest of Goodland to Smoky Gardens and Sherman Wildlife Area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Smoky Gardens offers a place to picnic, camp and fish. Fishing creel and length limits are posted on the restroom building. The lake is stocked with trout when it has water, which is not always. A new walking trail/disc golf course ascends steeply from the picnic area around the lake. Benches are provided. The park hosts Family Fun Day in the spring and fall with a concert.
