In 2009 the Congregation celebrated 100 years of this building and 10 years of the United Methodist Congregation owning and worshiping there. This was formerly St. Mary's Catholic Church. The old church was too small so in 1909 plans were made and the present native stone structure was built at a cost of $15000. From 1911 to 1923 the inside of the church was furnished with new altars, pews, etc. In 1924 a bell was provided. Dec. 1 1948 fire gutted the church leaving only the native stone walls & bell tower, so in 1949 the church was rebuilt.
