Historic Seelye Mansion

Abilene is home to two Winners of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Architecture. Both homes were built after the Chisholm Trail had moved on to Ellsworth, KS. They both have very unique architecture, one is Georgian and the other is Victorian in style.

Home of 34th President

Original location of President Eisenhower's home, where he grew up. Also a Winner of the Original 8 Wonders of Kansas!!

C.W. Parker got his start in Abilene! The C. W. Parker carousel tells another part of Abilene's history. Charles Wallace Parker's family moved to Abilene, KS when Parker was 5yrs old.
