Designed by W.E. Hulse & Co., Hutchinson, the building was completed in 1918. Every year there is a Christmas celebration that begins with a parade ending at the courthouse area and afterwards there is the mayor's Christmas tree lighting. There is also a skating rink located between the courthouse and bandstand every year. The public can see inside of the courthouse, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Notice the beautiful marble flooring and stairs.
