About this Exploration:

Come join our community celebration with activities including a bon fire, old time music and games, blacksmith, weaving and quilting demonstrations, mountain man camp, horse rides, hay rack rides, cake walk, food and everything needed for a fun filled look into the past for families. We are all excited to make the day fun for everyone involved. This event occurs every October.  We hope you can join us for any or all of the fun! There is a small admission that will cover you for most activities, except as noted below. Kids games, Blacksmiths, Outside Demonstrations, Hay Rack rides, Personal Ponies, Mountain Men, Antique Tractors, and concessions will be available at for an extra charge. Tours of the Cole House, Ag Museum and Heritage Museum will be available. There will also be demonstrations in the Heritage Museum on quilting, weaving and spinning!  Come join us for supper - they won't be ringing a dinner bell so don't be late! There is an additional charge for this. At dark we will be lighting a bonfire!! There will be lots of singing and free marshmallows!! We hope to see you again this year!
